Helen raises over £5,000 running the London Marathon!

Helen Morgan MP has raised more than £5,000 for two local charities by running the London Marathon for the first time.

After months of gruelling training, Helen completed the famous 26.2-mile course in 4 hours and 20 minutes.

Helen raised funds for Lingen Davies Cancer Support and Hope House Children's Hospice, with funds raised jumping to more than £5,300 after the race.

Pictured with her medal, Helen said: "Running the marathon was overwhelming, but I am so proud to have raised much-needed funds for two incredible charities. 

"Thanks to everyone who’s donated and to the huge numbers of people for their noisy support in London!”
