Helen Morgan moved and inspired by Zelensky address

Helen Morgan said she was left moved and inspired by President Volodymyr Zelensky’s address in Parliament today. Helen was in Westminster Hall with MPs from all parties to hear the Ukrainian President’s speech.

Speaking afterwards, Helen Morgan said, “It was truly inspiring to listen to President Zelensky’s moving address today. I know that everyone in North Shropshire stands in solidarity with Ukraine and supports the country’s brave defiance of Putin’s barbarous illegal invasion.

“Indeed many Ukrainians have now made North Shropshire their home and I am proud that they have been welcomed so warmly into our local communities after being forced to flee their homes.

“We are all united in our support of Ukraine and, in the words of the President, remain confident that freedom will win. Slava Ukraini.”
