Helen enjoys chat at Shawbury Parish coffee morning

North Shropshire MP Helen Morgan has enjoyed a discussion with parishioners of Shawbury at their recent coffee morning, with topics including primary school parking and the lack of GP appointments available locally.

The MP said she was pleased to drop-by and is always happy to receive invites to local events and take chances to keep in touch with issues across her rural constituency.

Helen Morgan, MP for North Shropshire, said, “Our rural communities across North Shropshire are really wonderful, and at their best when people are looking out for each other.

“It was great to drop by the Shawbury Parish coffee morning to speak with residents about the issues that impact them, and hear more about what we can do to make Shawbury a better place to live.

“Lots of the conversations I had are similar up and down the constituency – from a lack of GP appointments to problems with parking at school times. I will keep campaigning for people on these issues both here in Shropshire and down in Parliament.”
